Planning Tools for Interaction.
To better my understanding of the process of interaction design, our class has been given the task of preparing a step-by-step text description for cooking toast as well as a flowchart. It is assumed there is a toaster and bread.
Step-by-step text description for cooking toast.
1. Place the toaster on a hard flat surface.
2. Plug the toaster in at the power point and switch on.
3. Choose 1 - 2 pieces of toast.
4. Check that the toast is suitable for eating.
5. Insert the toast into the toaster.
6. Check the temperature setting on the side of the toaster and adjust to your liking.
7. Pull down the lever situated on the side of the toaster.
8. Check to see if the toaster is working.
9. Wait for the toast to cook, it will pop up when ready.
10. Carefully remove the toast from the toaster, it will be hot.
11. Make sure the toast is cooked to your liking.
12. Apply a topping of your choice onto the toast.
